This Privacy Policy explains how Ilan Globe Trade Pvt. Ltd., operating as Antaara Foods ("we", "us" or "Antaara"), collects, uses and protects your personal data when you use our website or trade with us.
We want you to know exactly what happens to the details you share with us. If anything here is unclear, please write to us at support@antaarafoods.com, and we will be glad to explain.
Wherever you are based: we follow India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and we also respect the rights that the law of your own country gives you, such as the rights under the GDPR in the European Union and the United Kingdom. Section 09 explains how to use them.
The company that decides how your personal data is used, and answers for it, is Ilan Globe Trade Pvt. Ltd., a private limited company registered in India under the Companies Act, 2013, that trades under the brand name Antaara.
We never sell, rent or lease your personal data. We use it to answer your enquiry, handle your order and offer you future trade, and to keep the records Indian law requires. In Europe, tracking runs only if you choose to allow it.
Most of the data we hold comes straight from you, when you fill in our Product Enquiry form, ask for a callback, send us feedback or write to us in our Chat with Sales window. Depending on the form, we ask for:
If you email, call or message us on WhatsApp, we keep what you share in the same way. For an order, we also hold the details it needs, such as those on your proforma invoice, shipping documents and payments.
We also collect business contact details from public sources, such as directories, trade platforms and company websites, and from business data providers. We may use them to contact you about our products.
Our Product Enquiry form also sends a few details about your visit, so that we can see how buyers find us: the website that sent you, any campaign tags in your link, and your browser's time zone, language and screen size. While tracking is on, it also sends the pages you viewed and your connection's country.
Like every website, ours runs on a server that records basic technical details of each visit, such as your IP address, your browser and the time of your visit, to keep the site safe and working.
We use your data only for the purposes below:
We use your data with the consent you give when you send a form, to carry out our contract once you place an order, and for our business interest in future trade with you. Some records we keep because Indian law requires them. A person, not a machine, reads and handles every enquiry and every order.
Our website does not set any cookies of its own. It keeps a few small items in your browser, on your own device:
Our tracking tools are analytics and advertising tools, such as Google Analytics, the Google Ads tag and the Meta pixel. They set their own cookies and tell their providers which pages you visit and when you use our WhatsApp, phone or email links, download a document or send a form, so that we can measure our adverts and show them again to past visitors. Together with the details about your visit, we call this tracking.
If you are in Europe, meaning the EU, the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, tracking stays off until you choose Accept All. Until then, Google may receive basic signals without cookies to estimate how our adverts perform.
Everywhere else, tracking is on from the moment you arrive, and you can switch it off at any time by choosing Essential Only. We tell whether you are in Europe from your browser's time zone, without looking anything up.
You can change your choice at any time with the button below, which clears your saved choice and shows the cookie banner again. You can also clear these items yourself in your browser's settings.
Our website, our email and our Zoho CRM account keep your data on servers in India.
Some of the services in Section 04 are based outside India, so your data may leave India when they are used. This happens with Google and Meta while tracking is on, with WhatsApp only if you choose to chat with us there, and with our lookup services and the OpenStreetMap map, which receive only a postcode or the address of your internet connection. We send each of these services only what its task needs.
We keep your data only for as long as we need it:
Google, Meta and similar services keep the data from their tags under their own rules. You can ask us to delete your data at any time, and we will do so within 30 days, unless the law requires us to keep it.
We take sensible steps to keep your data safe:
No system is fully secure. If you think your data has been exposed, tell us at once at support@antaarafoods.com. If a breach affects your data, we will act straight away to contain it and, as the law requires, tell you and the Data Protection Board of India what happened, what it means for you, what we are doing about it and what you can do to protect yourself from any further harm or misuse.
Our website and services are meant for businesses and their adult staff, so we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us their details, please tell us and we will delete them.
You can ask us to:
The rights you have depend on the law that applies to you, and we will respect every right your law gives you. If you are not happy with our answer, you can also complain to the data protection authority in your country.
We may update this Privacy Policy when our practices or the law change. An update applies from the day it is published here, and the “Effective” date at the top shows the latest version, so please check it from time to time. Where the law requires your consent to a change, we will ask you for it before the change affects your data.
This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of India, wherever in the world you are based. Everything here is subject to Surat jurisdiction, and only the courts of Surat, Gujarat can hear any court matter. This does not take away your right, explained in Section 09, to complain to the data protection authority in your country. If any part of this policy is found invalid, only that part falls away and the rest still applies.
