FSSAI

India’s Food Safety
Licence, Proudly Held

Every business that sells or exports food in India must register with the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India. Buyers know it as the FSSAI, and it sets and checks the food safety rules for the whole country.

The licence shows that the holder is allowed by law to deal in food in India, and it lists the kinds of business and food categories it covers.

Antaara’s Position

Antaara holds a central FSSAI licence, No. 10726997001037, which covers food export. The licence is public, so you can look it up yourself on the FoSCoS portal from anywhere and confirm it before you place an order.

Two Bodies That
Authorise Exports

APEDA stands for the Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority. It sits under India's Ministry of Commerce, and it registers food exporters, big or small, across the country.

Every exporter of rice, wheat, pulses and processed food must hold it, while the separate Spice Board of India registers every spice exporter.
